Transform the Globe' 350 Exhibition and Fun-Raiser Take part in a new 350 exhibition in town for the holiday season. Buy a globe for $1.00. Paint or decorate it anyway you like and drop it back in the designated bin at the store for inclusion in an exhibition there before the holiday. Our goal is to collect 350 ornaments to create a display, and then sell them for $3.50 in the store with proceeds going back locally to the Bromfield Environmental Group’s School Water Fountain Filter Project. Have fun with your designs! You can send a message in your design or simply create an ornament you would enjoy making. When your ornament is complete, sign your name on the tag and drop it off in one of the empty collection bins at the store or school by Decemeber 6th for inclusion in the exhibition. Have fun with your designs! Buy some for your friends…You can send a message in your design or simply create an ornament you would enjoy making. The exhibition will start December 7th and run until the weekend when the globes will be on sale. Sponsored by ForArt’sSake, Harvard Local, the Harvard General Store, and inspired by 350.org, an international organization that is finding creative ways to inspire the world to rise to the challenge of the climate crisis. The focus is on the number 350--as in parts per million, the level scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. 350 has become a symbol of where we need to head as a planet. Visit 350.org for more information.
